Sarah A. Blank, CKD

Sarah is a people person, getting to know her is easy. Most of her clients keep in touch long after project completion. She has a high rate for returning to clients' homes to do further rooms and projects.

Creativity came to Sarah in a superior design sense. She listens, collects data, asks questions and gets to know you. Sarah earned a BA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. A certified kitchen designer (CKD), Sarah worked for Kitchens by Deane in Stamford for seventeen years and before that with Allmilmo Kitchens in Manhattan. Several of her projects have won design awards; among them the Sub-Zero (refrigeration) Design Award, the Heritage Pinnacle Award for outstanding performance (4 times) and NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) recognition.

Since 2000, Sarah has been fortunate to work with noted specialists like Fairfax & Sammons Architects, Ferguson Shamamian Architects, LLP, Bunny Williams, Inc. Decorator, and Associates of Robert A.M. Stern Architects, LLP. The experience has been most rewarding. Sarah continues to further her studies of Classicism through inspiration from Richard Sammons and The Institute for Classical Architecture & Classical America.
